What is Lymphatic Drainage?

The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in immune system function and elimination of toxins from the body.  When the lymphatic system is not flowing, we can feel sluggish and bloated due to increased congestion from high levels of inflammation in the body.  The body simply doesn't work as well as it should!

A lymphatic drainage session involves smooth, rhythmical hand movements over key areas of your body — such as your abdomen, legs, neck, chest and face. This technique is specifically designed to enhance the flow of lymph, promoting detoxification and improving your overall health.

Who should have Lymphatic Drainage?

Developed by Dr John Veltheim, this method differs from traditional Western lymphatic massages. It is the perfect treatment to have prior to any type of body work as it clears the body of build up, allowing a faster response to other treatments.

Avoiding heavy meals at least 2 hours prior to your session to prevent discomfort and enhance bodily clearance.
